from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On Tuesday 11 June 2024 Viafarini.work inaugurates the redeveloped space at 33 Via Marco d'Agrate in Milan with the exhibition 'Frottage, a sociable device' by the artists Premiata Ditta (Anna Stuart Tovini and Vincenzo Chiarandà).
On display are large drawings that are the result of frottages made on doors in City Hall 4, from Corso XXII Marzo, to Corvetto, via dei Cinquecento, Ponte al Lambro, Rogoredo... the artists asked the inhabitants to show them the doors most dense with stories and history, and from their stories a book was also born.

Frottage. A Sociable Device is an open and collaborative process that the artists have been developing since 2021 in three areas of the city, involving different realities: Neighbourhood Laboratory, Antonianum Cultural Centre, Variations on the Theme, Regions Zone Committee, Equi.libri.

At the same time, Viafarini is organising Campus Itinerari Corvetto activities offered to 60 children and their families thanks to Fondazione Cariplo.

On offer are five full-time summer camp weeks with visits to cultural centres in the Corvetto area, educational experiences in nature and creative activities with professional art educators: Anna Maconi, Caterina Nebl, Ester Galli, Liana Ghukasyan, Anna Luoni, Irina Ghivier, Fabiana Lanza, Ilaria Ungaro, Francesca Zavanone. Also collaborating were 15 students from the art therapy course at the Brera Academy, assisted by Prof. Nicoletta Braga.

On 11 June, Viafarini.work opens the doors of its studios presenting the works of artists Andrea Bocca, Margherita Citi, Camila Curiel, Vincenzo De Bari, Carlo Galli, Diego Gelosi, Viktoria Kurnicki, Francesca Migone, Lorenzo Montinaro, Arjan Shehaj, Silvia Sirpresi, Gianluca Tramonti, Matteo Urbani, Ana Julia Vilela, and Vincenzo Zancana.

The event is the occasion to inaugurate the multifunctional space Viafarini.work, renovated thanks to the funds bando Prossima Impresa of the Municipality of Milan and the Chamber of Commerce, and thanks to the collaboration of SdARCH Trivelli&Associati.
The space will give the opportunity to better promote projects with economic and social impact such as Soulfood Forestfarms active in agroforestry in the Vettabbia Park and Fantasmagoria film productions involved in Virgilio Villoresi's film 'Orfeo'.

The evening ends with an aperitif with the neighbourhood beer Ibrida Birra, organised in collaboration with Fondazione Galleria Milano.
