Viafarini, non profit organization
for contemporary art founded in 1991,
is an exhibition space open for experimentation,
offers documentation services on visual arts,
and runs a residency program for artists and curators.

In order to offer appropriate means for information and divulgation related to contemporary art, Viafarini collects catalogs and publications, and organizes a portfolio service by means of which artists’ books are viewed by a curator and gathered in the Portfolio Archive. All materials are filed in related databases and made available to the public for consultation for study and research purposes.

These activities are part of the services run by DOCVA Documentation Center for Visual Arts, organized by Careof and Viafarini
