April - July 2008
After having spent two months of their residency period, Benjamin Greber e Ulrich Vogl open their atelier to the public.
The two German artists have been suggestioned by VIR location as well as by its nearby surroundings, supported in their research by ACACIA Associazione Amici Arte Contemporanea Italiana and PARC del Ministero dei Beni Culturali grants and decided to share the same studio spaces in the former Viafarini venue in Via Farini, not splitting it into two distinct parts.
Both of them produced a new series of installative and sculptorial works which on thursday June 26th will be presented and put in dialog. The hybridation process between mechanical elements and elements deriving from the interior design, the post-industrial iconography by Benjamin Greber will match the patinated and glittering Ulrich Vogl's research. As monolith of a recent time versusconjuring tricks.
Artworks and prototypes for future projects. Two solo shows that will be put on dialog creating a brand new exhibitional path.
