Mamma non piangere Stefania Galegati Shines presentation of the editorial project and the video Humans January 7 - 27, 2009 |
On Tuesday January 27, at 6:00 pm Viafarini DOCVA will present both Mamma non piangere, an editorial project by Stefania Galegati Shines, a well as her video work Humans. Artist book collects 120 snapshots, whose sequence wants to suggest a branch point of different meanings and reflections. Artist’s view ranged on extremely wide spread of different contexts and scenarios. Video work collects notes and images in a more chaotic mood, even if the well balanced through the original sountrack. The video shows various locations: Amsterdam, New York, Tanzania, as well as italian locations such as Bagnacavallo, Rome and Plaermo. Humans is a kind of work diary, that quickly turns into a mantra composed by many slices of life that compose a sort of language. |
