30 November 2010 - 29 January 2011

In 2009 Il Raccolto d’autunno è stato abbondante exhibition presented a selection of some of the most promising artists from the DOCVA Archive, run by Careof and Viafarini associations. They were thirteen. In the last twelve months Santo Tolone received a bursary to spend a residency in New York. Loredana di Lillo will follow soon the same destination, thanks to another residency program. Cleo Fariselli and Renato Leotta exhibited in several art spaces, both alternative as well as institutional and commercial ones. Some of the artists are now represented by a gallery: such as Giovanni Oberti and Manuel Scano just to name a few. Some others are fulfilling their educational path, like Emily Verla Bovino who is now attending a PhD course in San Diego, while Matteo Rosa, who moved in Sweden long time ago, confirmed the bond with his country by attending a workshop at Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte.

The exhibition got a good press coverage. Flash Art met the artists involved in the project in several different ways. Also Talent Hunter, Daniele Perra’s column on Exibart, addressed to some of them.

From November 30 2010 until January 29 2011 Careof and Viafarini renew the invitation to enjoy the exhibition Il raccolto d’autunno continua a essere abbondante.

The new protagonists: Davide Balliano, Luca De Leva, Gabriele De Santis, Alessandro Di Giampietro, Emma Ciceri, Marco Colombaioni, Enza Galantini, Enzo Giordano, Martino Genchi, Silvia Idili, Luca Resta, Marta Roberti, Mirko Smerdel, Gian Maria Tosatti.

The curators are the same: Chiara Agnello and Milovan Farronato.

Gemmo Spa will offer a bursary for a three months residency to one of the artists who exhibited in 2009 and 2010 editions of Il raccolto d’autunno.

A project by Careof and Viafarini with the contribution by Fondazione Cariplo and Gemmo Spa
